Thank God It's Monday Weekly @ The Flat Iron in Greensboro
Trivia is back for Thank God It's Monday going forward weekly. Co-hosted by DJ Silent Mic, Josh King, & The Flat Iron with questions curated & MC'd by Melvyn Brown. It's not only back, but we're making trivia a weekly thing here to stay. Josh Neas joins us as a co-host question curator MC. They will alternate hosting weekly. Josh King is behind the bar for you too. Free entry for all, but donations at the bar are greatly appreciated since all TGIM hosts do this for the fun, fellowship, & firewater otherwise. In spirit of community support, we'll be donating a portion of these proceeds to benefit the Triad Health Project, Arc of Greensboro, Mutual Aid Freedom Fridges, & Down Home NC. Participation is NOT required to attend. You can still come and enjoy without playing. 7-8 pm is Bring Your Own Vinyl (BYOV). DJ Silent Mic will spin it on the turntables while sign ups for teams takes place (you can play solo no problem). 8-9:30ish is 4 round trivia with instrumental vinyl during trivia & whatever I bring during the breaks between rounds. After trivia ends, I will still spin tracks for as long as you hang with us. Get there by 7:45 pm to get your team (max of 6 players) or yourself in on the action. Trivia will start close to 8 pm. First place gets a $25 gift card & 2nd gets a $15 one to use next time you’re back at the The Flat Iron. We will have fresh roasted cinnamon-glazed almonds, cashews, & pecans by Totally Nutz for sale for snacking.
